As the internet keeps on evolving, businesses have to quickly adapt to its changes in order to attract potential online customers. You as an entrepreneur must have created a marketing strategy for your business which may include social media marketing, email marketing etc but there is one important thing that is missing from your marketing strategy. Video marketing means recording and sharing videos with your target market in order to boost your business. Everyone likes to watch videos. Videos provide a lot of information in a limited period of time. Instead of writing an article of 1000 words it’s better to make a video for it and give your brand a voice. 64% people are motivated to buy products only after watching their videos. In the United States, around 9% of small companies create videos for their products.

According to a study by Wyzowl, 61% of companies were using video marketing in 2016 as their main sales tactic.

Why video marketing?

Videos are a great way to educate your customers about your products/services. They give you a platform to interact directly with your customers and help them make a decision about your product/service. This is the reason why it works best as a marketing tactic.

According to Vidyard benchmark report, 90% of users say that product videos are helpful in decision making and after watching a video, 64% of users are more likely to buy the product.

What to include in your videos?

Testimonials

Customer testimonials are an excellent way to promote your business. According to 2013 B2B Content Marketing Trends Report, customer testimonials are considered the most effective content marketing tactics. Before I buy any product, I like to read what the company’s existing customers have said about the company and its product. According to a study by EXPO (a video review site), users trust customer reviews almost 12 times more than statements from the business themselves.

Product’s manufacturing

Well, this one is interesting. To attract potential customers, you can make videos of how your products are manufactured. Take your users to the backstage where all the action happens. For example, Xiaomi made a video of its phone manufacturing plant in India where it showed how its products are made. Being a Xiaomi fan, it was fun to watch how my Redmi Note 4 is manufactured.

Tips & Tricks

Providing complete manual (tips and tricks) of how to use your products can be beneficial for a consumer. Many companies do such a thing. If you have manufactured a complicated product, then it is a good idea to provide some direction on how to use that product. For example, One Plus made a video about the tips & tricks of using One Plus 5 (One plus’s product). Such videos educate a user about your product and help to attract potential customers as well.

Show your office

Make videos where you can show off your office and it’s important places like meeting room, gaming room, cafeteria etc. You can also introduce your employees. Such videos are only suitable for those companies who have a unique business model or a facility. For example, Apple has created a video where it shows off its entire office facility and introduces few of its employees as well. Such videos help to attract potential customers.

I know you already have a good marketing strategy but including video marketing in your current strategy will definitely fetch you far greater results.
