Well if you are mentally strong and have a mentor to help you maneuver through initial stages of business process setup, you don’t need a co founder. Sometimes this mentor also become your partner – a strategic partner not necessarily a business partner.

Business should ideally be system driven and not founder driven. If the company needs you to be present to function, then you may not realize it right now but you are moving towards the worst kind of job ever.
