That means nobody can re watch your videos. I know it’s sad but everything has got a downside to it. Instagram live help you to share your experiences with your friends as they are happening.
To know more, here are few basic tips for using Instagram live.
Tips for using Instagram live
Click on Instagram live
To start a live video just click on your story profile photo at top side of your Instagram new feed or by any chance if your story profile photo is not visible to you, at the top left corner at your Instagram you will find a camera icon. Just click on it. A new window of Instagram stories will open where you will find three options.
Live- Your video will vanish videocast ends.
Normal- Video or photo will vanish in 24 hours.
Boomerang- Time lapse videos produced from fragments of photos.
Now click on ‘Live’ to begin Instagram live recording feature.
Before going live, just go through the settings of your Instagram story. You will
find the settings icon at the top left. Tap on it. Check the sequence of your
Instagram settings. You can change the privacy settings (who can or can’t see
your videos and who all are allowed to comment on those videos).
Note: The setting of shared photos is not applicable to your videos.
Your videos will vanish after 24 hours. For recording broadcasts, you will require
a software for your screen recording for your mobile for example Screen flow for
recording screen activity on iPhone.
Twist your camera
Flipped your camera by mistake? Don’t worry, choose a camera angle for your choice by clicking on an icon just right to start live video button.
Note- You don’t have access to flash for your video recording.
Go live
After choosing your favorite settings, just click on the start live video button to start the recordings. Your followers will get a notification from Instagram.
Control your live recording
While recording live videos, you need to check out a few settings. At the bottom of your live video, you can check out how many of your followers are watching your video and to make things even more interesting you can start interacting with them in the comments section. This helps to keep a check on whether your viewers are liking what you are posting, based on how many viewers are leaving or commenting on your video. You can click on three dots to close the comments section. To check your recording time, you can click on the ‘Live button’. If you are interested to know your list of viewers, then click on ‘number of viewers’ next to live button. If you want to remove a person from your list of viewers, then press ‘X’ in front of his/her name.
Finish your broadcast
When you are done with recording, click ‘End button’ at top right corner of your screen. After ending the broadcast, you will see the number of viewers. As i have told you again and again that your recorded videos will vanish after 24 hours so Instagram analytics can’t show you any results related to your video/stories for a longer period of time. So, if you like you can take and save a screenshot of the number of viewers (to analyze your video perform) after ending your broadcast.
Since the past few years, Instagram has become a popular social media tool. Now with the help of this new feature (Instagram live), you can create instant videos to entertain your followers.
